General Advice
I want to clarify something on trust, it’s a currency so spend it wisely.
When you entrust people information, they hold the capability to either use it against you or tell other people. With that said, I have seen multiple scenarios where individuals are eventually outed to family members or friend groups because they entrusted the wrong people or too many people.
Preferably it’s best to stay quiet and if you must, find a small non-affiliated group of people (online or offline) to discuss with.
Ordering
Assuming you live in a preoccupied residence with other individuals, I highly recommend you create a detailed and organized plan. One mishap in any step could be detrimental if they are actively against you DIYing.
Hiding Transactions
There is two categories of transactions you’ll be doing, items bought with Bitcoin and items bought with regular money. If your money or bank account is being tracked, knowing the difference is important for planning.
Say you bought something with your credit card. All account holders are capable of viewing the full statement details of that purchase. Like when and where you bought it and how much you spent. Depending on the type of card, purchase and how quick they got to the transaction, they may be able to file a dispute, thus cancelling the transaction. Most importantly now they surely know what you bought.
Bitcoin is unique since it can’t be traced. Well technically it can, but it requires deliberately announcing your public addresses. So whatever you buy with Bitcoin, none of the purchase details will be known unlike bank transactions.
Hiding Bank Transactions
You can avoid bank statements by using one of the methods below.
- Visa Gift Cards bought w/ Cash
- Buy from in-person Stores w/ Cash
- Request a friend to buy for you
General online stores like Amazon can also serve as a viable alternative. Order history is invisible because the bank statement simply says “Amazon”
Hiding Bitcoin Transactions
How about buying the Bitcoin, will that transaction be tracked? Usually yes but it depends.
If you buy something with your bank, regardless that’ll pop up as a statement under your card. Specific methods like purchasing Bitcoin using BTMs or P2P using Gift Cards (Not Recommended) do not utilize bank accounts, thus do not appear in transaction history.
Delivering Discreetly
The most fundamental skill is the ability to lie.
It is absolutely crucial you are able to think ahead and maintain poseur all without overthinking. That means not ruminating on all the hypothetical what-ifs but also avoid letting the anxiety of not doing so, overwhelm you. This common mistake is what ruins the facade, forcing an unnatural demeanor.
Realistically, you simply end up lying, sneak the package in and hide it in your closet.
Discrete Packaging
Pretty much all sources utilize discrete packaging. This typically means ordinary, brown cardboard boxes with no possible external indication what’s inside. Inside these boxes, usually contain the actual medicine itself wrapped in bubble wrap.
For supplies, the same cannot be said. Depending on the website you buy from, there may be branding or descriptions of what’s inside. Considering these websites also operate for official businesses such as hospitals, it makes sense they don’t hide.
Post-Office Boxes (PO Boxes)
Post-Office Boxes (PO Boxes) are rentable mailboxes located inside post offices. You can rent out a PO Box to use as an alternative pick-up location from your house.
Since PO Boxes are rentable, they require monthly payment fees for continued usage. This fee typically ranges from 5$ to 30$ in the USA.
Friends House
Your friends’ house may be a viable alternative if they’re willing.
Hiding Locations
Here’s some hiding locations you could possibly utilize. Try using these locations nested in other niche locations like a closet.
- Hollowed out books
- Inside bean bags
- Old backpacks, boxes
- Plastic bag nested inside a large crowded container
Counterfeiting
The primary goal of hiding your HRT is to avoid confiscation. Counterfeiting is a great preventative measure because you can surrender fakes instead of your actual HRT.
Practicing counterfeiting is quite simple. If you have vials, buy empty vials off the internet and fill them with oil to mimic the appearance of HRT. If you take pills, purchase resemblant cheaps. Though now that I think about it, if you do injections they demand your supplies as well. So maybe pretend you take pills instead.
Hiding Effects
After years of floating around in the DIY ecosystem, I can confirm most individuals are eventually found out. Especially FTMs and those who’ve DIYed for more than 8+ months.
I ran a poll in my personal Discord server and 60% were found out, most of the 40% were beginners. The 60% is also not including the people who simply never came back online and were never heard from again. That is the reality of the stats, be careful.
